Through the process of repair, children naturally engage with STEM concepts and learn about sustainability. They develop critical skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and perseverance. Team Repair’s core approach revolves around learning through play. They design unique repair kits that allow children to fix real electronic gadgets with intentionally designed faults.
These kits contain a faulty gadget, repair tools, parts and guides. They also include integrated experiments, STEM videos, worksheets, lesson plans and more. Home kits are a streamlined version of class kits.
A vibrant TikTok channel with repair content and instruction adds to their hands-on offering.
Team Repair only ships to the UK at present (September 2025) but is planning for international expansion. If you’re in the USA, EU, or beyond, join their international mailing list for updates on that roll-out.

Team.Repair is an award-winning company founded by a team of Design Engineers from Imperial College London. They are passionate about using repair to support STEM education and facilitate access to engineering professions.
“Our kits let students get hands-on with real products, developing an intrinsic interest in how things work and exploring the KS2/KS3 STEM curriculum in a unique way. They are designed to inspire students who don’t engage with traditional STEM education, and to nurture sustainability mindsets through repair.”
