Berkeley Repair Cafe

A Fantastic Day of Fixing!

In a huge assist, Transition Berkeley organized a brilliant café, lent logistical support, and turned out umpteen volunteers who beautifully managed the flood of guests

Co-sponsored by The Office of Berkeley Councilmember Sophie Hahn
Co-sponsored by The Ecology Center

Supplies generously donated by OSH
Lanesplitter and Berkeley Bowl helped provide lunch for volunteers

BFUU generously provided our venue

Some 200 people gathered in Berkeley to do everything REPAIR:  Fix, Learn, Celebrate, Share.  It was a full, fun and inspiring day.

We WANT to fix our things!

We're working on figuring out how to transform our world to one that supports Repair, be it DYI, by friends, or at local repair shops.
