This teen-focused mending and clothing mods workshop was designed for use by libraries, schools, community centers and similar organizations.
The Program Guide includes lesson plans, suggested tools and materials, tips for engaging youth in library-based workshops and similar public settings, sewing and mending guides, and links.
The workshop draws on young people’s love of fashion, creativity, and self-expression to get them excited about sewing and mending, and engaged with sustainability. It works well as a one-time event, a short series, or a recurring get-together.
